Grand Theft Auto Vice City is the fourth main game in the series, following 2001's GTA III, and the sixth entry overall. Set in 1986 within Vice City (based on Miami), the single-player story follows mobster Tommy Vercetti's (voiced by the late Ray Liotta) rise to power after being released from prison and becoming caught up in a drug deal gone bad. While seeking out those responsible, Tommy builds a criminal empire for himself.
